Big Love

As HBO’s “Big Love” careens near its season climax, Cara Lynn’s drama is factoring pretty greatly into the family drama. Bill’s (Bill Paxton) newly adopted daughter has been moving on an issue with her tutor, a man 15 years her older, and they’ve just been discovered.

“She’s having a rough time, ‘Cassi Thomson, who plays Cara Lynn, tells Zap2it. “It’s her 1st love, in fact. She’s head over heels for this guy. I imagine a part of her knows that it’s not fairly right. And it won’t blow over with no trouble.’

Does any drama gust over easily in the polygamous Henrickson home? declaration in “Big Love” generally arrives with wounded, literally and symbolically. And we suspect that Cara Lynn won’t make it easier on herself or the family.”She’s her mother’s daughter and exploitation is in her blood,” Thomson says. “But, I think Cara Lynn has more a of a sense of right and wrong than Nikki [Chloë Sevigny] does about what she’s doing. I consider like Nikki is very naïve and does things on impulse. Cara Lynn is really smart. She manipulates people in a way where it doesn’t look like she’s in the wrong, kind of in a coy way.”

With the finale nearing, viewers may be worried about how the series will wrap up, particularly with so many difficult storylines to determine. Thomson tells us that while the climax will shock viewers, they’ll be grateful for the way the sequence makes it exit.
