Latest News Update:Mark Niver, an NHRA drag racer, is dead after suffering a high-speed car crash near Seattle on Sunday. He was killed after the parachutes on his vehicle "ripped off," preventing him from stopping before the lethal collision, ESPN reports.
According to FanHouse, "King County Sheriff's Department halted race activities for more than an hour to investigate the crash but NHRA officials say the event was expected to finish in its entirety."
