Latest News Update About Murali Death:The 46-year old Murali, who had acted in over 100 films, complained of chest pain this morning and was rushed to a private hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
He is survived by his wife and two sons, including Atharva, who made his film debut recently in the film “Baana Kathadi“.

Murali, son of famous Kannada film director Siddalingaia, made his debut in Tamil film in 1984 playing the lead role in “Poovilangu”, directed by Ameerjhan.

Actor Murali, who during the nineties was an endearing performer in low-budget movies, which usually presented him as an ordinary man in mute awe of his love interest, passed away on Wednesday morning. His family said he died of a cardiac arrest at 7.30 am. He was 46.
“The news of his death is shocking,” said Sarath Kumar, president of South Indian Artistes’ Association. “I have acted with him in Samudram’. He was an even tempered person,” he said.
Murali’s acting career, spanning 26 years, took off in 1984, after his debut in “Poovilangu”, which was also the directorial debut of Amirjan, an assistant of K Balachander. The song, Aathadi paavada kathada’ was a runaway hit. “Read More. Stay with us for more news
