Attending the premiere of Les Petits Mouchoirs movie in Paris, the actress was sporting a darker hair cut with a thick fringe like Katy’s, a push-up bustier-style
shiny black dress and vampish dark lipstick – all elements of Katy’s style
This was a distinct departure for the understated French star, who graced the cover of September’s Italian Vanity Fair with bed hair, no make-up and no re-touching.
The talented Cotillard, 34, has won a best actress Oscar, a Bafta, and a Golden Globe for her portrayal of French singer Edith Piaf in La Vie en Rose and
received critical acclaim for her role in Inception.
She lives with French actor and director Guillaume Canet and leads a private life away from the spotlight.
Midnight in Paris, which was shot this summer, also stars Kathy Bates, Adrien Brody and Michael Sheen.
French first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy will also be making an appearance, providing she doesn’t end up on the cutting room floor.
The former model is said to have had to do a whopping thirty takes of her cameo scene before Allen was satisfied.
And it wasn’t as if it was a tough one to nail – all Bruni had to do was walk out of a bakery!
Written and directed by Allen, the film is slated to be released in cinemas September next year.
