Act Scores

Latest News Update About Act Scores: It’s the time of the year that high school students increase their intensity in the realm of finding a college. Taking the ACT test which is one of the biggest tests for those trying to get into college.
The score right now that is considered an average composite score is a 31.4. However, looking at the various schools and students involved thus far, the average score is coming in at 24. That’s rarely good enough to get the big scholarships even though it may be good enough to get students into college.
If you are looking at ways to help you or your students make the best possible grade and get in a good college.
Other colleges, such as community colleges, accept a lower entrance score. Edmond North Principal Jan Keirns attributed her school’s score to the number of Advanced Placement courses students take.

“One of the main things we do here is really encourage a rigorous program and hold students to high expectations, whether in AP or pre-AP classes,” Keirns said. “We really want our students to be fully prepared when they leave us.”
