Pakistan and US sign wind power project

Latest News Update About Pakistan and US sign wind power project: Pakistan and the United States (U.S.) a wind energy project on Sunday.
The agreement was signed by U. S. ambassador to Pakistan and Afghanistan, Richard Holbrooke, water and energy minister Javed Iqbal in a local hotel in Islamabad.
The project will be completed in two years at the expense of 375 million U.S. dollars (32 billion Rs.) Producing 150 megawatts of electricity.
It would also increase reliance on imported fuel and oil, and save Pakistan 45 million dollars (Rs. CZK 3.8 billion U.S. dollars) a year in fuel costs.
Projects using new technology “apparent” power to serve approximately 600,000 homes in the area.
