UN Expresses Grave Concern Over Libya Situation

New York: UN Expresses Grave Concern Over Libya Situation:
A special conference of UN Security Council on Tuesday was held to take an indication of Libya’s condition. Security Council’s Undersecretary General expressed grave anxiety at the situation in Libya and the deaths of hundreds of civilians.

Security Council’s Undersecretary General Lynn B. Pascoe told media that we have been deeply worried about the situation that has been going on in Libya. I am not going to make any comments on, of course, what the Security Council action might be, but I briefed on the actions of the last several days as we saw them. The concerns that we had and the Secretary-General s efforts are really to decrease brutality, to cut down the dangers, to move towards a better situation.
